Hi, among these beautiful water lilies (Rio Dulce Lake, Guatemala) there's a birdie. Can you find it? and what is it? I've got a second pic that reveals its identity

Ooooh You are good Larry and are very close! Yes, a Jacana inmature but not the Northern one...

I'm wondering if it's an extra-limital Invisible Rail in the bottom left hand corner? (I know, there's probably dozens in there). Can't see any Jacanas yet, but I think I can make out the shadow of an overhead Great Egret and the bubbles from a shoal of submerged Least Grebes ...

I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) that it's a Wattled Jacana (inmature). Here's the pic...

Then I guess it has to be the Wattled Jacana Jacana jacana.

That is so blindingly obvious once you've seen the second pic. Jacana jacana so obscure, they named it once more.
