Great read, I did a similar trip (independently) in May 2018 - less snow but similar birds, so thanks for the good memories.

Great, thanks. Where did you sleep at Kaamanen with the birds feeders? We are off there next March.

We slept two nights there. On the way to Norway and a week later on the way back to Finland. First night I slept in an iglo by the lake. The second night I slept in the main building.

Thanks very much. We were wondering if we should do the same. We have booked the igloo going north already. I think we will book coming south now too as we don’t seem to have found another place that appeals to us
