I'm fairly new to birding, usually just been into storm chasing and general nature interests. I've headed out before to grab shots of nature (do it often), but yesterday was my first day going out for the sole purpose of getting shots of birds and starting to fill my guide book.

Was fairly eventful, despite the season winding down to Autumn now. Got photos of the following:

- Cape Sugarbird
- Egyptian Goose
- Swee Waxbill
- Male Cape Batis
- Male Olive Woodpecker (my pick of the day)
- African Dusky Flycatcher
- Cape Francolin
And then another 2 birds I'm still trying to identify
