First Swift of the year 2022 (UK) (1 Viewer)

Saw my first three today but they weren't at Lochwinnoch. They were over my local high street as I was on my way to catch the train to Lochwinnoch.

They arrived in good numbers over Central London this week but my brother saw his first of the year on May 1st.

Heard one a couple of days ago , glimpsed one yesterday just as it whizzed past between two houses…but first confirmed sighting today…
got to say I’m really concerned by lack of swallows and martins so far near me, keep looking up expecting to see them and not apart from usual haunts and even then they seem to be lower numbers than even last year……am I imagining things..?
