first time to Cape May N.J. (1 Viewer)

Went to Cape May for the first time this past weekend. Higbee Beach first stop but other than a few wookcock while walking in the thickets that was all I saw. Then to the Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge which was great. Last to the Cape May Point State Park and another wildlife refuge close by which were also great. Many Coots, Mute and Whistling swans, cormorants, Pintails, Mallards, widgeons, canadian geese and others. The state park has a nice boardwalk circleing the wetlands and many platforms to set up scopes and watch the migrating hawks and ducks. Need to spend more time there.
