Last wk saw a pair for the 1st time at my stock pond. Is this rare for north central TX? Have seen this pair 3-4 times since around dusk.

Black-bellies up North

I believe that the ducks have been successfully broadening their scope and have been sighted further and further North. Good luck, perhaps they will nest at your pond.
