This bird was spotted Sunday on the Austin CBC! Great find!









It has been seem on=ff of McKinney Falls Parkway, just past the intersection of William Cannon & before the entrance to McKinney Falls State Park as of today. It has moved around some, having been spotted off the McKinney Falls Pkwy, but past the state park at one point. If you go looking for it, be persistent.

The bird has moved around quite a bit in the last few days, covering an area of hundreds and hundreds of yards. Visibility can be a challenge, since a fence blocks off access and a gully has poor sight lines. TEXBIRDS has received updates fairly regularly, and the TOSRBA has been used, as well.

Good luck to all who pursue this rarity! I enjoyed a nice look on Monday morning.

That is so neat! I looked for the one that was in Galveston a while back. I unfortunately missed it by one day. It either moved on or died.
