Forktail Bali (1 Viewer)

I just saw a forktail on a river in Bali. Would that be a white crowned Forktail or a Java Forktail? It’s very unclear from my guide book as White Crowned doesn’t even get shown accept as a mention under Bornean Forktail!
Many thanks

Depends whose taxonomy you follow. Eaton (your book) splits the broad sense "white-crowned" into java etc. so if you follow that it's java. Ebird doesn't recognise this split (yet?) and maintains "white-crowned".

Ahh I see thank you
I tried adding to my BUBO list add it would only accept Whit-crowned as well
