Hi!

The photo was taken in Poland. I know it's hard to see anything on this photo, but any ideas? At first I thought of a Spotted Flycatcher, but she said the bird was rather plain brown.

Thanks in advance!

I would bet for a Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) - immature. Thin bill and the "face appearence":)

Had Black Redstart in mind, but can't justify it yet for the lack of visible and obvious red in the tail.
Start means tail in Dutch; staart.
