Glow on Underside of Ruby-throated Hummingbird's Lower Mandible (1 Viewer)

In my photo session with a male RTHU today I noticed something that I have never seen in a Hummingbird photo before-- a neon red glow on the underside of its lower mandible. This is evidently a reflection of his gorget, but perhaps adding to his "attractability" to a female. What do you think? Check out this link to my Bird Forum gallery to see this glowing bill: Ruby-throated Hummingbird's Bill Glows
