Goldcrest Photo- Dodder river bank in Ireland (1 Viewer)

I took this photo- (and one very similar a second later) yesterday.

I know the bird is a Goldcrest- but just wondering about the protrusion near its right leg. There are no alterations to the original photo other that sharpening and noise reduction.

Yes you must be right- I saw it a minute or 2 later and the 'addition' had disappeared.
