this is quite a weird combination of features. any other pic might help, pavel, even if in a similar view, post as many as you can, please. doesn't looks like a michahellis with those pale underwings and the slim and pointed bill.

An excellent shot by the way Pavel 👍....the underwing looks more cachinnans to my eye, however the pale iris and eye (not small dark and beady) look more michahellis, a hybrid Lou?

Hi Lou, sorry for delay, just added another photo (crop) of the gull. Thanks for your comments!

upperwing shot - very important for ID, Pavel ;) now, since it is a really weird bird i'd leave it unidentified but suspect it is a 'cactus' hybrid - cachinnans x argentatus, a mass 'product' in the hybridization belt from germany to russia. slim and pointed bill looks very off for michahellis. underwing p10 tongue, pale underwing and structure suggest cachinnans involvement while pale irides and head striation would go for the argentatus ancestry. a 3cy bird of course.

Very helpful comment Lou, thanks a lot!
