Gulls, Florida. ID help please (1 Viewer)

Hainan on the fly

Well-known member
Wanted to double check my IDs on these gulls if anyone is able to help please.

1. Looks like a third winter herring gull to me but had a difficult time separating from ring-billed gull
2. Landed on a nonbreeding laughing gull

Thanks,

Brian

1. is a 2nd winter Ring-billed Gull. Note very rounded head shape and different head-neck markings (more spotted than streaked). Also the yellowish legs.
2. Laughing Gull
