Half Moon Caye (1 Viewer)

I am currently planning a trip to Belize. I want to go to Half Moon Caye to see the white morph of the Red-footed Booby. Does anyone know how to get there? I have contacted several tour companies that go there but they are for divers. They stop at Half Moon for lunch but spend most of the day at other places diving. I am not a diver so these trips are useless to me. I want to spend the day on the island photographing the birds and lizards. Any suggestions on how to get there? There does not seem to be any transportation to the island except for dive trips.

I have a very good friend on Ambergris Caye who operates dive trips. He may know of some "charter" type trip to serve your needs. I'll let him know and see what I can find out for you.

That would be great. I have been unable to find any transportation to the island except for dive trips that just stop there for lunch for about one hour.
