Hi again, this bino is the one I use the most, and I have it in my backpack all the time. I think the cordura case that comes with it is nice, but not super protective. Sometimes I am on the bus, crammed like sardines with other passengers, I also go trekking and hiking, and I have to carry a lot of equipment that is very tightly fit in a backpack, etc. I am concerned about the protection offered by the soft case in these situations, when you bump into objects, or if there is weight put on it, there is stress exerted to the focus wheel and other parts. Or maybe not, but I would be more relaxed and less concerned if I use a hard case. I know that the MHG 8x30 version comes with one, I don't know why the more expensive x42 versions just come with a soft case. I was wondering if you have a recommendation of a hard case for this model, and if it would fit a NL Pure 10x42 in case I decide to upgrade to that model, but this last is very speculative, the main thing is to protect a MHG. Thanks in advance!
