I am a long time (nearly 30 years) occasional birder, and my time spent birding has gone down rather than up since I retired!
I think the problem is that when you work 5 days a week, you are much better at planning and making the most of your weekends. Without the pressure of work, it's easy to say, "I can't be bothered today. Maybe tomorrow." At least that's how it is with me, and I'm hoping that joining this forum and sharing the occasional post, I might be inspired to get back into action on a more regular basis.
Looking forward to sharing a few stories with some of you.
