New bird watcher here. I live in a heavily wooded area and just down the road from a large lake on government property. It’s large enough to home several active bald eagle nests that hunt and raise families here. I just bought some Swaro 8.5x42 to get started with. I’ve put up 3 squirrel buster feeders about 30-40 feet from a large picture window in our kitchen so I can enjoy meals and bird watch while doing it. Looking forward to being a member of the community.

Hi Flyhigh and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
