Hello, my name is Eric, I've been casually birding for a few months now around the college, coast, and suburbia of San Diego, USA and have found it to be an amazing experience to get to know the local residents of my neighborhood, California Towhees, Bewick's Wrens, and House Finches just to name a few.
I love learning about new birds, a couple of favorites so far being California condors, (I find their wingspans fascinating), as well as shoebills for their friendly temperament and bowing.
Other than birding I enjoy music, video games, and philosophy, in my spare time I like to be involved in activities at my local college, I run a philosophy club once a week where we talk about famous philosophical dilemmas.
Hoping to learn a lot from this forum and eventually contribute if I can!
