Good afternoon all,my name is Gary Hayman and I live not far from the southern mot tip of Africa. I am a member of BirdLife South Africa and spend quite a bit of time photographing the birds that live and frequent our shores.Today I came across a Black necked Grebe that really mad me sad...
Seems the flockthat visited us has all left except for this little chap. He seems to have survived whatever took his right wing and is at least still able to forage👍🏻

Hi southerntip and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. It just amazes me that animals and birds can survive with some awful injuries! How sad that is. I wonder if it was a propeller?
