Boreal Forest Birder
United States
I am a photographer / outdoorsman who spends a lot of time in the forest. I live on the edge of a river which crashes down the hill to Lake Superior. You will often find me volunteering at Sax-Zim Bog where I work as a naturalist. Sax-Zim Bog is one ofmthe premier winter birding locations in the continental United States. After all, shouldn't one go birding in a frozen bog when the temperature is -10F? (or colder).

I blog at https://www.365daysofbirds.com
