Hello from Zimbabwe (1 Viewer)

Hi , I am new to this forum. I am a safari guide in Zimbabwe, I have always had a passion for the bush especially birds. I do enjoy my photography , I am always looking for tips on bird photography 😊..

I have had the pleasure of birding in a few different countries in Africa but i have a trip planned for Uganda early next year , which I am really excited for. If anyone has any tips or suggestions of must see places in Uganda πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬ I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Hi Sean and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I hope we may be able to see some of your pictures in the Gallery.

It would be an idea for you to post in the Information Wanted forum to get ideas of places to visit in Uganda, giving them an idea of when and for how long you'll be there. Also if you've any target species you'd like to see.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Welcome to the forum, I had the pleasure of six months or so in Zimbabwe, a fantastic part of the world you live.

For Uganda, try 'Cloudbirders' website - it will have many trip reports for Uganda and give ideas for best places to visit, including for the Shoebills etc

Thank you Jos , I will have a look at cloudbirders … the shoebill is an incredible bird to see, I saw them in Zambia.

Yes I am very fortunate to live here. I am glad you enjoyed your time in Zimbabwe
