Happy holidays everyone! So glad to join BirdForum! I'm an avid birder and retiree living in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, U.S., active in my local bird club and looking forward to having more time for bird-related travel. Next up: Costa Rica in February! It will be my first time there (though I have birded Panama and Belize). I have already found great info on CR in the forums here!
