New to the forum and not exactly an expert birder. I'm an art professor and have done a lot of landscape photography and dabble in painting birds, mostly the ones I see in my backyard. We live in St. Louis and so we have the wonderful Riverlands Audubon Sanctuary at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers a short drive away. Looking forward to learning what I can.
