Took this picture on the south coast near Bognor last week, can anyone assist with an id please.

Thank you paddyluke, I thought It looked to big to be a Juvenile coot.
Most grebes in the Uk are smaller then coots, apart from the great crested and red necked grebe- the red necked grebe being extremely unusual in the summer months. The larger grebes also tend to have longer more fine bills, not thick and blunted like a coots.
