Scaup identification help - Leics / January (1 Viewer)

Hi

Can anyone help with this Scaup (I think it is a Scaup!) please?

It looks more like a Lesser than a Greater to what I have read, but I am aware that this would be rarer and so I don't actually believe the ID.

Sorry for the poor picture - it was somewhat off shore at a reservoir.

Looks like a female Goldeneye to me.

Note weird head shape, stubby triangular bill, body colour, white bit in wing.
