My son is much, much more advanced in the field of birds than am I; however, I do have a strong interest too. That said, I am (slightly) better informed on butterflies and moths and have taken part in the national garden survey for several years now. I hope to use the forum to increase my knowledge further on both birds and lepidoptera. I live in the North East of England.
