I just discovered this site and have already enjoyed the conversations on binoculars and scopes. We have lots of bird life here in SW Louisiana but owls are my favourite. Due to the frequent hurricanes we have a serious shortage of trees to see owls ... so we roam the marshes and refuges looking at ducks and other wildlife -- presently the sandhill cranes and geese. Thanks!

Hi Feathers&more and welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hi Feathers&more and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
