House Sparrows during breeding season (1 Viewer)

Hello!

I have read online that female house sparrows take to eating snail shells during breeding season for the additional calcium needed for their eggs. I am wondering how many people have observed this behaviour/how common it is?
I live in London and am trying to leverage this insight for a design and would love your inputs..!
