How many pixels? - III (1 Viewer)

In the last pixel quiz, Fifebirder did the incredible ID of a Pied Flycatcher on a picture containing only 8x6=48 pixels! Now I have another picture, fresh from the garden. This time I don't think it is so easy to see what it is ;) .

Here is how it works:
The bird picture is 512x384 pixels in size, and I will post it at reduced resolutions. I'll start with the "impossible 4x3" pixels, then update it with 8x6 pixels, then 16x12, and so on until someone can ID the bird.

A correct ID yields the full picture at once - if I'm logged in of course. I'll update to higher pixel counts after 5 erroneous attempts (or after a while if you seems to be bored :h?: ).

Let's see who needs the fewest pixels!

Good Luck, Jens.

 BrianB got it at first attempt on 32x24 pixels! Congratulations Brian!

Jens.

OK guys,... I need to go to sleep and it seems like most BF members have done that already. I'll update with 32x24 pixels now and then go to bed. Maybe there are some clever Americans who can figure it out while I am asleep?

At 07.00 CET (within 6.5 hours), I will check the night's answers and update with the 64x48 pixels image (if needed).

red grouse?

EDIT: D'oh! Went to nap at 6:00PM, wake up at 6:59PM, take guess, didn't realize it was already over...
