Howdy, from Northern VA (1 Viewer)

I've recently gotten into photography and found that birds are my favorite thing... they're fun to watch and I like the challenge of trying to capture a shot of something alive and fast moving, vs. the fairly straightforward process of doing landscapes or something.

I trek around various state parks or waterfront restaurants, and drive the highways too, hoping to get some shots of bald eagles, ospreys, herons, and hawks. I'd love to see an owl in the wild, somehow I've never spotted one except in captivity.

Anyway, this place was recommended to me and I look forward to hanging out here. Hopefully I can find some good spots, maybe meet some people, and take some great pics ^^

Attached a few shots I've gotten in my first year.
