How's Your 2023 List Going? (1 Viewer)

After 59 species locally on NYD including 52 for my Patchwork Challenge two mates tempted me to accompany them to north Norfolk yesterday. Nice at Stiffkey and North Point Pools but everywhere west of there was rammed with cars and we ended up missing out most sites and all the scarcer birds due to struggling down narrow roads and there being nowhere to park if you did get anywhere.
Anyway, ended up with 30 new for the year and a year total now on 89.

31 for the year, all within a 15 or so mile round trip of home, Been suffering with a snottery nose/ chest infection/ man flu so haven't had my traditional January days out either to Lothian or to WWT Caerlaverock. Wallowing in self- pity, apparently, isn't a cure for the common cold.
