Huge swarm of birds (1 Viewer)

So I was driving to Seattle from Spokane on 1-90, and a little bit east of Moses Lake I saw this huge swarm of birds, hundreds of them, all in a dense group. I've seen anything like it in my life. It looked like something from those old cartoons where the swarm of bees would be chasing someone around and make shapes like a gun or whatever in the air. Anyways, I couldn't really notice any distinct features of them, they look kind of dark I guess.

Does anyone have any idea what species this could be?

Hi Erikmg I see this is your first post, so may I welcome you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators at Bird Forum

What you are describing sounds rather like our European Starling but I'm sure someone from your side of the pond will come along soon to help you
