The first I think is a Green Heron? Second 2 Buffleheads? And the third a Huttons Vireo?? Thank you for the help....

It's not just that the bill is thin. The base of the secondaries are dark, which is not the case in Hutton's Vireo.
 
Has anyone seen the Ruby Crowned Kinglet with the Ruby Crown. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but it seems to me that all the pictures I've seen don't have a red top.
 
i have seen it a few times, but only rarely are you able to actually see it, unless you get it too display against a rival or for a mate

I had one hanging out at my suet feeder all winter. This is not a statistical analysis, but I'd guess about 10% of the time the crown would be visible, usually when the little guy was wet.
