Hello Eric,

this is a "Domestic Goose", the domesticated form of a Greylag. The fat plumb rear end is characteristic for this.
White plumaged birds like yours are regular, and an extensive white blaze isnt a sign of a White-fronted Goose (please note, the the white blaze reaches down to the chin in your bird, unlike in a WFG)
Large, triangular bill with a "plastic-orange" colour is good for a Greylag.
The paler cheeks and just visible darker cap might be a sign of Swan/Chinese Goose ancestry, but in this markedness it is ok for a "pure" Greylag.

After I was alerted to this from Jörn (thanks again), I looked at Greylags again more closely and yes, I have found a few pure wild Greylags that shows the same amount of paler cheeks like in this bird here.
