If you were a bird.......... (3 Viewers)

Maybe someone would like to be a male Ruddy Duck.... and instead of being blasted into zillions of pieces.... why not get kissed by a beautiful princess and turn into a human but keep certain aspects of your Ruddy Duckness... you would never leave your bed again.

Hi Will,
True, but, from what I've seen, being changed into a donkey and back to a human again while keeping the same 'certain aspects' would have the same desired result...?

Possibly.... but a donkey turned into a man, wouldn't be surrounded by feathers like a Ruddy Duck turned into a man, thus might not tickle her fancy (who ever her might be).

Plus donkey's smell and I believe this is a retaining feature even when humanised.

Hi Will,
This may be true: not having ever met someone who used to be a Ruddy Duck or a donkey, I can't prove or disprove this.
All I can say is that the donkey that a gang of us saw in Spain looked very pleased with himself, and no wonder! He would certainly put me to shame, and I am presuming that this would also apply to the rest of the lads!
Shame for his sake that there didn't appear to be any other donkey present!

The smell is not all that would be retained... You live in hope. o:D :eat:

How about any Spanish princesses?

I'd be a Brambling. Get to hang around with a bunch of Chaffinches and most people won't even know I'm there - more fool them!

I'd be a Bald Eagle, hands down.^_^ Otherwise, perhaps a Rufous Hummingbird: they're resilient, and spirited, to say the least, and pugnacious like me. Stay away from that sugar water, it's mine!

apolgies for radio silence Wesmond, was washing my hair and slightly bowled over by the fact the Black-headed Gulls have balls ... I always thought it was just the way the held their feet !

Why them and not other gulls, I wonder? Interesting little tidbit, though.

Since you're asking...
I found out a while ago that I am a Savi's Warbler, and my evidence is:
I sound like one
I occur in the same area in Sweden and I am kind of rare
I am a small yet kind of sturdy little bird.
I am not as skulky as a grasshopp warbler.

I wanna be something more longlegged and conspicuous.....
