Irakaya Farm, Qatar Best Day Yet (1 Viewer)

After months of lockdown and the 50C summer heat, it is at last possible to visit Irakaya Farm in Qatar. This is an amazing green oasis in the desert. Usually the best birding months are between March and May, when migrating birds flock to this location.

Today however turned into my most diverse day yet. Sighting included Black-crowned Sparrow Lark (first sighting), Great Hoopoe Larks a plenty, Hoopoe, Glossy Ibis, Pallid Harriers (12), Sandpiper, Yellow Wagtail (black head), Barn Swallows, Crested Lark (too many to count) and many others.

Can't wait until Saturday and my next visit. I'll do a detailed write up with photos here https://birderlife.com.
