Irish Spring Soap (2 Viewers)

Hello. Thank you for any help you can give me.
I use Irish spring soap around my plants to keep deer and rabbits away. Works like a charm. I just put new shavings in baggies around my plants and I haven’t seen my hummingbird since yesterday. He’s always here. I’ve used this in the past with no trouble. Does anyone know if that’s a deterrent because I read some use it by their bird feeders to deter squirrels.

Don't have the answer to your question, but thanks for the tip about the Irish spring soap, I've had animals digging up potted plants on my patio maybe the soap would help

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing about the birds you see around you. Which hummingbirds do you get there?
