Is this a non UK redstart? (2 Viewers)

This is really funny. I too thought it was a redstart! I can now see the woodpigeon as well, no doubt that it is one. Brilliant though! :-O

Maybe tex66 should see if he can get the picture published in one of the birding magazines? Assuming the same effect occurs in print ...

Even after 15 cans of Bud and half a bottle of Vodka it still looks like a Woodpigeon.................But starts to look like a Redstart after the vodka bottle is empty.....B :) Cheers Alan

Alan,
Try a decent beer, and then you don't need the vodka!:king:
MJB
PS Columba palumbus rules

Can someone annotate the original image to highlight features that trick the eye into thinking it's a Redstart. However much I look, I can't get past woodpigeon.
I was the opposite. When I first saw the image I could only see the "Redstart" and it was a real shock when the Woodpigeon appeared!

Sorry to hijack this thread and sorry that this is only a BOC image, but could this be a Redstart also?

I have pen in hand ready to tick...
