Is this a non UK redstart? (2 Viewers)

Its definitely a woodpigeon but it does indeed magically transform into a redstart when you enlarge the image.

This is really funny. I too thought it was a redstart! I can now see the woodpigeon as well, no doubt that it is one. Brilliant though! :-O

Even after 15 cans of Bud and half a bottle of Vodka it still looks like a Woodpigeon.................But starts to look like a Redstart after the vodka bottle is empty.....B Cheers Alan

Woodpigeon head = "Redstart face'
Woodpigeon white nape and pale shadow on upper forewing = 'Redstart white forehead'

Rotate your screen 45o anticlockwise so the head is uppermost and block the wing off

I was the opposite. When I first saw the image I could only see the "Redstart" and it was a real shock when the Woodpigeon appeared!

It looks more like a kingfisher to me with those rounded wings and pointy bill, although its feet may be a bit too big.

It's a long time ago I saw such a picture!
