This lil guy was accompanying 3 Common ringed plovers on a flying visit to chew Valley lake. Dunlin is the know fit I can muster, but I'm far more familiar with other plumages, so please let me know if I've made any error! Thanks:)

It is rare to see Dunlin in juvenile plumage south of the breeding grounds, at least in the US. I have seen it just once before. And excellent find.
Nice! It's my first time seeing this plumage in the UK too, it did give me some puzzle at first! A very nice learning experience.
