Leaf Warbler sp. - Hong Kong (1 Viewer)

Not sure what Phylloscopus species this is. Darting around mid-way up the tree. Gave the impression of an Arctic warbler. Near Peak Tower, Hong Kong Island (Leaf Warblers (Genus Phylloscopus), Leaf Warblers (Genus Phylloscopus))

The photos aren't ideal but both look like Two-barred Warbler to me - long p1, broad GC wingbar, fairly strong bill with orange lower mandible, supercilium reaching the bill

Thanks, that does seem to be the best match for both. Not sure of any other likely candidates.

Two-barred has increased in Hong Kong over the last 10-20 years and is now one of the commoner wintering Phylloscopus. I agree with that's what these birds are.
