Lesser Florican 28-30th of July 2025 (1 Viewer)

I'll arrive in Delhi on the 27th of July around 9PM and transfer to a hotel approx. 1 hr South of Indira Ghandi airport.
The plan is to go towards Sokhaliya the next morning with pre-arranged car + driver (approx. 6hrs drive), arrive around mid-day, bird in the afternoon, bird there the next day (29th) and, depending on the birding either move to e.g. Ranthambore or just stay in the area. I'll have a local guide arranged for 28th PM and 29th full day (and optionally the morning of 30th). On the 30th the car will transfer me back to Delhi airport late afternoon (flight 31st at around 4AM).

Ideally I'm looking for 1-2 people to share the experience and ofcourse cost (which will be relatively modest). Target bird #1 is ofcourse Lesser Florican.
Ideally we could see the Florican displaying, as they start around 20th of July. So end of July is on the early side (mid- to late Augist is a safer bet): I can't promise anything, it depends on the monsoon. Other good birds would be Rain Quail, Painted Francolin, Rufous-tailed Lark, Indian Nightjar, Streak-throated Swallow, Barred Buttonquail and Indian Eagle-Owl (all lifers for me). Better at-the-ground views of Rock Bush Quail and Painted Sandgrouse will be desired by me as well.
