Hi everybody,
I've been uploading old photos to inaturalist and I stumbled upon this little warbler, which I saw skulking in shrubbery on the outskirts of Jakar, in central Bhutan (2500 masl). The date was April 26th.
I remember being stumped by it at the time, eventually putting it down as a Brownish-flanked warbler, without much confidence.
But looking at it now, with my eyes that have only gotten marginally better at identifying Old World LBJs, I have even less confidence in my ID. Some Iduna perhaps? (Looking on eBird barcharts, the only Iduna recorded in Bhutan is Booted, with only a handful of records, from late April).
What say the experts?
The first photo is the only clear one I got, and I added a couple crappy ones that show different angles, in case it might help.
As always, many thanks in advance.
