Can anyone suggest and ID for this lizard I photographed in south-east Sicily last week?

by distribution it should be Podarcis waglerianus. Podarcis siculus lives only in NE Sicily

Not withstanding the other reply, this is Italian wall lizard or Podarcis siculus, which occurs all over Eastern Sicily. Sicilian Wall Lizard Podarcis waglerianus much scarcer and in specific grassland habitat.
