Manchester bird groups (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of any bird groups in the Manchester area?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I live in Bury, and haven't come across any in Manchester. There is a group in Leigh and one in Bolton that i am aware of. Keep looking - and let me know if you come across one!

Not sure, but i think there may be one in South Manchster / Stockport area.

There is a local RSPB group in my area - South Manchester (covering the area between Stockport and Altrincham). I've no direct experience but I get a regular newsletter and they seem quite an active bunch. If it would be of use I could look out their details at home.

I'm a member of four groups in the south Manchester area: Stockport Birdwatching Society (Dave Evans, 432 9513); Stockport RSPB (Brian Hallworth, 456 5328); Manchester RSPB (Peter Wolstenholme, 428 2175); and Greater Manchester Bird Club (Margaret McCormick, 941 2728).
