This bird is being reported as a Reed Warbler but photo show features of Marsh.

What do others think ?

This species pair can be difficult to separate for ringers, in the hand at certain times of year! No clue is given as to when the shot was taken. Unfortunately, the part of the image which would be most useful is hopelessly out of focus. Its necessary to see the position of the notch on P2 and emarginations to be anything like sure.

The comment "is being reported" suggests to me it's today.

I'd favour Reed, on the overall colour tones (fairly rusty), and also the date - while not impossibly late for Marsh, that's more usually an August or early September bird for autumn passage.
