Meadowlarks at DFW (1 Viewer)

Thanks RCH,

These were distant birds and definitely Meadowlarks but unidentifiable down to species. I was interested in interaction of populations which you have answered.

You can tell them apart from the song. I live in Ontario, where we typically only get Eastern Meadowlark. One year we for some reason got a Western in there, and the call was different enough, at least when surrounded by a bunch of Easterns!
