A mate has sent me this video asking which bird is calling. It calls about 3 times but very faint so turn the voulme up!

I’m thinking this quarry will remain somewhat elusive mark, despite “trying” to liken it (without much success) to a bird that sometimes frequents this habitat.
However, I think you can discount Quail as a candidate. 😮

I think I can, just about, make out a jackdaw. Hard to be sure though.

Jackdaw calls near the beginning, bird in the tree surely a Carrion Crow making one of its calls?

Yeah I get the jackdaws but the call is a 3 note " fluting" type call at 8 , 14 and 19 seconds. I've attached merlin sonogram where you can see the three notes.
