Missing eye piece part. ZEISS focus eye piece (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone.
Acquired a pair of Zeiss jena 10x50 in as new condition. Problem. The focus ring eye piece is missing a part as shown, Am i correct in thinking this is just a screw in piece?
Do I have to buy a pair of eyepieces to get what I need. TIA. Regards Jim

your photo shows you need an eyecup that screws on top of the eyepiece. Try an internet search.

Yes. To double check, unscrew the existing eyecup and make sure it screws onto the threads on the side missing.

The trouble is Zeiss Jena ceased trading over 30 years ago so parts will be hard to find.

Try this seller on ebay - he makes good copies.
