12 day trip to Morocco organised for late April 2025 - one of the group of 3 has pulled out so looking for someone to take his place. Timed to ensure Atlas Flycatcher is back in Morocco (they usually arrive around 3rd week of April). Cost 1500 euros

Outline itinerary as follows
Tour will start on 23rd April from Marrakech with the following approximate itinerary, with flexibility depending on where birds have been sighted, especially in the desert areas.
22nd April - arrivals into Marrakech. Hotel/dinner Marrakech
23rd April - Marrakech to Oukaimeden for local mountain specialities. Dinner and hotel in Marrakech
24th April - drive Marrakech to Agadir (either on coast road or high mountain pass) with birding stops en route. Dinner and hotel in Agadir
25th April - birding Tamri estuary and Cap Ghir. Dinner and hotel in Agadir
26th April - birding Oued Massa and Souss Estuary. Dinner and hotel in Agadir
27th April - Agadir to Boumalne Dades. Dinner and hotel in Boumalne
28th April - Birding around Boumalne (Tagdilt Track). Dinner and hotel in Boumalne
29th April - Boumalne Dades to Merzouga. Dinner and hotel in Merzouga
30th April - Erg Chebbi. Full day in desert. Dinner and hotel in Merzouga
1st May - Merzouga to Midelt via the Ziz Valley. Dinner and hotel in Midelt.
2nd May - Birding around Midelt. Dinner and hotel in Midelt.
3rd May - Midelt to Ifran and back. Dinner and hotel in Midelt.
4th May - Midelt to Marrakech birding en route for any remaining targets, where trip ends.
5th May - flights home in morning unless anyone has evening flight from Marrakech on 4th
Includes guiding, transportation, accommodation, breakfast and dinners. Extras - drinks, lunches and hotel on 22nd and if needed, 4th May.
