I was running through some old film, when I perchance came across this 'grab.' I thought that the forum might find it instructive?...I certainly did!

To me it looks like a Starling without a lower mandible.

I'm afraid not...however I can see the likeness guys...It's not so much a case of photos can't lie, but more about 'extreme posturing' when feeling exposed.

Looks more like a Warbler, probable a Great Reed W., but I'm not good with Warbler.

I'm afraid not!....but all credit to all those that have 'tried'..when I refound the 'grab'..some 5 months after the occasion (which I'd completely forgotten about in the interim) I thought Song Thrush!...until I re-ran the tape.

P.S.

It's not a Trog is it? Considering the scale against those leaves it could be that small.

All credit to the 'magnificent seven' brave souls so far, that have put their respective credibilities on the line...in the face of 480 views! Yes this was extreme posturing..no doubt due to the sudden unexpected meet...by both parties. Here are 2 more grabs which should help somewhat.
